An underbite is a dental condition where the lower teeth extend outward further than the upper teeth when the mouth is closed. This condition is also known as a Class III malocclusion. It can range from mild, where the lower teeth extend slightly past the upper teeth, to severe, where the lower front teeth significantly protrude beyond the upper front teeth.

Also know as an increased overbite, an increased overjet is where the upper front teeth excessively extend outward past the lower front teeth when the mouth is closed. This condition is also known as a Class II malocclusion. It can range from mild, where the overjet is slightly increased, to severe, where the upper front teeth significantly protrude beyond the lower front teeth.

Crowded teeth, also known as dental crowding, occur when there isn’t enough space in the dental arches for all the teeth to fit properly. This results in teeth overlapping, twisting, or being pushed out of line.

Crooked teeth are teeth that are not in their ideal, aligned positions. This can manifest in a number of ways, such as overlapping or twisting. Crooked teeth may or may not be associated with crowded teeth.

Orthodontic spacing typically refers to gaps or spaces between the teeth that are not caused by missing teeth. These gaps can occur anywhere in the mouth. When a gap appears between the front teeth, this is known as a 'midline diastema'.

An overbite is a dental condition where the upper teeth overlap the lower teeth more than normal when the mouth is closed. A small overbite is common and necessary for proper function, but a pronounced overbite can lead to various issues.

An open bite is a type of malocclusion where the upper and lower teeth do not touch or overlap when the mouth is closed. This creates a noticeable gap between the teeth, which can occur at the front (anterior open bite) or the back (posterior open bite) of the mouth
